The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has now issued new guidelines for Unlock 2.0 or the second phase of relaxing lockdown. These rules are made to allow some more activities to open in the regions outside the containment Zones. Very importantly, these new guidelines for Unlock 2.0, shall come into effect from 1st July 2020.
So, here are the key guidelines regarding Unlock 2.0:
5 Important Rules of Unlock 2.0
#1. Domestic flights and trains: Both the means of transport have been resumed by the government up to a limited extent. This shall continue in a gradual manner.
#2. Night curfew: Important, the timings for the Night curfew shall now be relaxed. These shall now be from 10 pm to 5 am.
#3. Shops: The Shopkeepers can allow above 5 persons at a time. Nevertheless, they have to follow strict social distancing norms.
#4. Training institutes: The institutes run by Central and State governments shall be allowed with effect from 15th July 2020.
#5. Schools & Colleges: The government has decided that schools, colleges, and coaching centers shall remain closed till 31st July 2020. Undoubtedly, this has come after extensive consultation with States and UTs regarding this.
And last but not the least, the citizens must have the Aarogya Setu app installed on their phones.
All in all, these are the key guidelines regarding Unlock 2.0, in order to stop the spread of COVID-19.
