Stepwise Process to get Udyam Registration Certificate
- Firstly, go to the UDYAM registration portal of the Ministry of MSME.
- Next, click on the option ‘For New Entrepreneurs who are not Registered yet as MSME or those with EM-II’.
- Enter your Aadhaar number and name exactly as they appear on your Aadhaar card.
- If you’re registering for a partnership, LLP, or company, use the Aadhaar number of one of the directors or partners.
- For HUFs, you’ll need the Aadhaar of the Karta.
- Check the declaration box, then click ‘Validate & Generate OTP’. You’ll get an OTP on the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar Card.
- Once your Aadhaar is validated, you can now select your type of organization (proprietorship, partnership, LLP, or company) from the dropdown menu.
- Enter your PAN details. Afterward, the portal will automatically pull your organization’s name from PAN records.
- The next step is to fill out the form with the rest of the required details: location, office/plant addresses, caste, type of business, incorporation and commencement dates, NIC code, number of employees, investment in machinery, and bank details.
- If you run multiple businesses, you can add those details too.
- There’s also an option to register automatically on other government portals like TReDS, GeM, NSIC, and National Career Service. Just select ‘Yes’ if you want to.
- Once everything is filled out, click ‘Submit and Get Final OTP’. You’ll receive an OTP on your mobile—enter it to confirm.
- After successful verification, you’ll see your UDYAM registration number on the screen. Make a note of it.
How to print Udyam Registration Certificate after successful application?
- To get your certificate, click on ‘Print UDYAM Certificate’. Enter your registration number and request another OTP.
- Once you enter the OTP, your MSME UDYAM certificate will appear on the screen.
- Now you can download and save both the regular certificate and the one with Annexure.
