#1. Trademark search:

#2. Trademark application:
On the basis of the search report, an application for trademark registration has to be prepared. The online trademark application shall be purely based on government guidelines. The documentation along with mandatory Govt fee shall apply accordingly. The online trademark application must contain the accompanying detail:

#3. Sending trademark application for Vienna codification:
Vienna code classification is the successive stage that comes after the documentation of the trademark application. During this stage, the Registrar of Trademarks will apply for the classification of the trademark as per the Vienna code. This trademark classification is done on the basis of the figurative elements of your Trademark. While this stage of Trademark classification, your Trademark application status will be shown as "Sent for Vienna Codification".
#4. Trademark examination:
After the Vienna Codification, the Trademark registration application will be sent to the assigned Trademark Officer (TO) for the Trademark examination. TO audits the Trademark application thoroughly. He has the power to either pass the Trademark application, and send it over to the subsequent stage of Trademark registration, or arise a Trademark objection. A Trademark objection is accompanied by an assessment report that mentions the solid reason behind such objection.
#5. Trademark objection reply:
On the off chance that the Trademark objection has arisen, the applicant has to submit a Trademark objection reply to him stating his justification, within 30days of trademark examination report issued. Now if the TO agrees by the Trademark objection reply, he will pass the application and will send it over for the successive stage of Trademark registration.
#6. Hearing of Trademark objection reply:
In case the TO is not satisfied with the Trademark objection reply, the applicant will have to give further clarification to the examiner. This stage is called the Trademark Hearing. If the trademark hearing is scheduled, the trademark application status shall be shown as "show cause hearing". The trademark hearing notice will then be sent to the applicant on his business address provided by him on the trademark application.
If TO is satisfied by the clarifications of the applicant he will pass the application.
#7. Publication in the Journal of Trademarks:
Upon the fulfillment of all the conditions and passing of the trademark application, the proposed trademark shall be published in the Journal of Trademarks.
The general public may, however, oppose the trademark published during the period of 3 months from the date of advertisement of the applied trademark in the Journal of Trademarks. The third-party will file a trademark opposition. The time period for trademark opposition can be extended up to 1 month. In the case of trademark opposition, the applicant shall submit a suitable reply to the trademark opposition.
#8. Trademark registration certificate:
After 4 months of the Publication of the proposed trademark in the Journal of Trademarks, the Trademark registry shall issue the Trademark registration certificate.
