Categories of Engineering EPC Membership

The Council shall have the following categories of members, namely:

(a) Associate Members
By obtaining an Import-Export Code Number for the goods in question from the Director General of Foreign Trade, Government of India, an individual can become a full member of the Council.

(b) Ordinary Members
One must meet the following criteria for ordinary membership under Engineering EPC Registration. At least three years must have passed since he or the organisation he represents became an associate member of the Council.
He or the organisation he represents must have had average exports of the product of at least the minimum amounts shown below in each of the three most recent fiscal years.

If an Associate Member wishes to transition to Ordinary Membership and meets the requirements for doing so, he must submit an application to the Committee of Administration in the appropriate form.
