Due Date for filing e-Form DPT-3 Extended
Recently the Ministry of Corporate Affairs had brought a new one-time mandatory compliance for all the companies. MCA had introduced a new RoC filing e-form DPT-3 for all those companies that have taken loans but not considered as deposits.
The Deadline for Filing e-form DPT-3 is 22nd April 2019. MCA has now extended the due date for Filing e-form DPT-3 to 30th June 2019.
1. What is the Form DPT-3?
The e-form DPT-3 is a one time return of the outstanding receipts of money or loans taken but not considered as deposits by the company.
According to the MCA guideline, all the companies except the Government Companies were required to file a one-time return of the outstanding receipt of money, herein referred to as the e-form DPT-3, specifying loans accepted by a company but are not treated as deposits.
2. How much has form DPT-3 filing due date been extended?
As per the MCA notification, the form DPT-3 was to be filed within 90 days of the publication of notification. MCA has recently amended this clause in its new notification and has replaced it with 90 days of 31st March 2019.
Hence the new due date to file form DPT-3 is 30th June 2019.
