Due date of filing GSTR-3B for March 2019 extended

It has been notified by the GST council that the deadline for the GST Return filing in FORM GSTR-3B for the month of March 2019 has now been deferred till 23rd April 2019.

The due date for filing of GSTR-3B Return for the month of March 2019 was 20th April 2019. However, the tax authorities have now extended the due date of FORM GSTR-3B till 23rd of April 2019.

The Due date for the GST return filing in FORM GSTR-3B has been extended as the taxpayers having GST registration had flocked on the GST portal for GST return filing on the last date. As a result, GST portal had hanged.

The notification is displayed on the GST portal as below-
