Due date of filing GSTR-3B for January 2019 extended

In the past few months, the GST department has frequently extended the Due date for the GST return filing. It has been notified by the GST council that the Due date for the filing of GST Return FORM GSTR-3B for the month of January 2019 has now been deferred till 22nd of February 2019.

The deadline for filing of GSTR-3B Return for the month of January 2019 was 20th February 2019. However, the tax authorities have now delayed the due date of FORM GSTR-3B till 22nd of February 2019.

Additionally, the Due date for the GST return filing in FORM GSTR-3B has been extended till 28th February 2019 for the taxpayers having GST registration in the state of Jammu & Kashmir.

The notification is displayed on the GST portal as below-
