Complete GST State Codes List

Soon after the process of getting a new GST registration, the businesses entities receive a 15 digit number called provisional ID or the GSTIN (Goods and Services Tax Identification Number). It is very essential to know the structure of the GSTIN for every taxpayer.  

 

The GST authorities have a unique way of allotting the GST numbers. The initial 2 digits in a GSTIN that are referred to as the GST state code depict the state to which the GSTIN relates.
